Art’s Treasures is a proud co-sponser of the “Bunker Opens Doors” exhibition with LarkGallery Online and The City of West Hollywood. “Bunker Opens Doors” runs from April 1 to May 30, 2018. Submissions are currently being accepted from artists for participation in this event. Details are below.

This is the invitation to participate and attend the international competition and exhibition “Bunker opens doors”, organized by LarkGallery, Non-profit organization Art Treasures and the Russian Advisory Board of the City of West Hollywood. The Bunker Art Group was originally a group of dissident artists within the former Soviet Union and has become well known in the US and Europe. For this exhibition its members symbolically open the doors of their bunker to hear your voices and see your imagery demonstrating your notions about the free expression of creativity and liberty. This exhibition will be held under the auspices of the Annual Russian Cultural Festival of the City of West Hollywood, which will provide you with the opportunity to demonstrate your talents and be seen by thousands of people. This exhibition gets wide coverage in statewide and local media, including video footage. Press Releases and other information about this exhibition will also be sent to all relevant art magazines and newspapers.

The first part of the show – April 1 to April 30, 2018 – will showcase the artworks from Sergey Djavadian collection of original members of Bunker art Group and art of it’s recent members participated in the Bunker’s shows in the period of 1994- 2017. This part of the show will be curated by Peter Frank, a well known critic and curator living in Los Angeles. Currently, Associate Editor of Fabrik Magazine, he has written for many publications and organized exhibitions around the world over a 45-year career.

In the second part of the show (May 1st – May 30),  juried and curated by Peter Frank and Barry Gordon (a gallery owner of the previously well-known Gordon Gallery in Santa Monica -1985 thru 1996) will be exhibited new artwork of the Bunker Art group and also the artworks of the winners of the competition “Bunker Opens Doors”

Aside from the exhibition during the Russian Cultural Festival, the works of the selected artists in this international exhibition will also be displayed and featured on the website of the online LarkGallery.com. See the link to the pages of one of the previous competitions. After being featured for three months on the “Contest” page, the work of the selected artists will be saved, archived and shown in the “Exhibitions” section of LarkGallery.com.

The jurors will select participating artists and their artworks. Among selected artists, jurors will also choose three artists to be featured on LarkGallery’s Winners page. To participate in this exhibition, please complete the forms found on our submission page and upload 3 or more photos of works to our site in the folder “Bunker opens doors”. Be sure to follow the specifications for entry photos of your work.

Art’s Treasures Group Show Invitation

Arts Treasures together with Gallery Western is pleased to present a group exhibition of our artists works.
Art’s Treasures Group Exhibition will run from April 1th till April 15th with an opening reception on April 1st, 6-8 pm.
